In these times, almost everyone has asked themselves why they should buy a ringtone for their cell phone. Most people buy ring tones for their cell phones because they either do not like the cell phone ring tones that come pre-programmed on the cell phone or they like to have the diversity of a variety of ring tones on their phone and they can change the ring tones based upon their respective moods or based upon the individual caller that is calling.
Before downloading a ring tone, people should investigate several things about ring tones. These few issues can make a big difference on which ring tone – if any – to purchase and download on their cell phone.
The most obvious issue with ring tones is the price. You need to determine if the ring tone is merely a downloadable ring tone or if it is truly a free ring tone. Many times people believe they are purchasing a free ring tone and miss the fine print that authorizes the company to charge your phone bill for the respective ring tone.
Determine whether or not the ring tones are compatible with your cell phone and cell phone service. This can be very tricky and often websites will not inform the consumer if the cell phone ringtone is incompatible with your cell phone. Usually you can find this information on a link at the website or in the fine print on the website. If you cannot find this information on the website, then I would recommend contacting the company on their respective site – usually the contact us link.
My favorite ring tone right now is the theme song to Monday Night Football because it is the start of the football season. My second favorite cell phone ring tone is the Paper Lines song from the band MIA. I believe that was the theme song from the movie Pineapple Express.
